勿忘草の物語
花言葉は
真実の愛・わたしを忘れないで
ドナウ川の岸辺に咲くこの花を
恋人に摘んであげよう
と思った青年が足を滑らせ
急流に流されながらも
花を岸に投げ
「わたしを忘れないで」
と叫んで水中に没した
という悲恋の話と共に
世界中の人々に愛されて
古くから詩歌や物語に登場する
悲しくも切ない花です
花は小さく
色は青・紫・ピンク・白など
苗は80円くらいで手に入るので
とても育てやすい花です
管理人が人生で初めて
育てた花でもあるくらいです

Common
forget-me-not Myosotis
arvensis is a small,
hairy annual or biennial
with slender branched
stems up to 30cm long
arising from a basal
rosette of oval leaves.
The flowers bloom from
May to September,
followed by fruits
composed of four dark brown,
shining nutlets that remain
enclosed by the persistent
calyx lobes.
This is a common species
occurring throughout
Europe and growing
in cultivated ground,
woods and waste places.
